Had the 200g Wagyu Flat Iron MB9+ steak with a glass of red wine. IMO it is pretty pricey for what it is, but you get what you pay for, steak was of high quality, expertly cooked and super tender. Nice to see that it comes with your choice of a classic side that helps with the value proposition.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Rich & Rare. We decided to come here for our anniversary after seeing so many videos about it on social media. We tried the power banquet which is available from lunchtime through to 6 PM. It was great value and quite a delicious experience. The food was all top-notch, the only exception was that the steak didn’t quite live up to my expectations as it was a little tough. The flavors were all phenomenal though. There was a torrential downpour while we were there, and the staff made every effort to ensure everyone was comfortable and dry. Service was wonderful, overall a really great experience and would definitely consider going again.

Our server Kate was very helpful in providing services and insights about our dishes. Attentive, patient and upbeat. We will definitely come back for the amazing food as well.

Fantastic dining experience from start to finish. The tataki with truffle ponzu was full of flavor, the wagyu bites were creamy and savory, and the scallops were cooked perfectly with a beautiful sauce. The steak was done just right — not oversalted and perfectly wood-fired, giving it an amazing smoky taste. Sides were just as impressive: even the Brussels sprouts were a standout with crispy bacon and cheese, and while the jacket potato was a bit rich, the wagyu mince with béchamel was a creamy dream. Will definitely be dining here again.

The entrées and desserts were very good. The oysters were very fresh, and the steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare. However, the food was a bit too salty overall. Still, the dishes were quite nice.

Came here for a celebratory dinner and I must say the steaks were pretty good, service was good as well and everything else we ordered were also nice. The only mistake was that we ordered too much. Nonetheless, the quality of the food were pretty good. I would definitely return again for the steaks if I'm in Brisbane.

OUTSTANDING!!! We had the "Drover's delight" banquet and it was incredible!!!! We were seated in a corner, and the tables are perfectly far enough away to not have to hear anyone else's conversations. Kimberley was our server and she was fantastic, made everything feel easy, never any bother, you can tell she loves being there. Jamon - perfect, beef - perfect. Dessert - perfect. We were so full and still ate the dessert because it was *so good*. We were able to take some of our food home so it didnt go to waste. I genuinely struggle to put into words how exceptional our experience at Rich & Rare Restaurant was. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt refined and sophisticated, and the staff carried themselves with such confidence and professionalism. The service was seamless from start to finish. I had the Truffle Mushroom Spaghetti — indulgent, aromatic and perfectly balanced with that deep, earthy richness you hope for in a truffle dish. We also ordered a steak cooked medium rare, and it was executed flawlessly — tender, succulent and bursting with flavour. The quality of the meat truly speaks for itself. One detail that really stood out was the selection of four different mustard sauces offered complimentary with the steak — such a thoughtful touch that elevated the experience even further. Each one had its own unique character and paired beautifully with the meat. The potatoes were perfectly cooked, and the mushroom sauce was an absolute highlight — rich, velvety and full of depth. The cocktails were expertly crafted and pleasantly strong in the best way — balanced, smooth and clearly made with skill. To top it all off, we ordered dessert for a special occasion, and it arrived with sparkling presentation — such a classy and memorable gesture that made the evening feel even more special. Had dinner here and it was amazing. 100% recommend! The food was amazing and catered for everyone’s likes. Drinks were also great, very extensive wine list and one of the best Margarita’s I have had. The service was excellent, definitely recommend going for an occasion, I celebrated my birthday and was taken care of in full. Will definitely be coming again when in Brisbane next! Thankyou team!

We had dinner at Rich & Rare in West End tonight and it was fantastic. The food was outstanding from start to finish. For entrées we had the oysters, salmon, octopus, bread and king prawns — every dish was fresh, well-balanced and full of flavour. The steaks were the highlight and cooked perfectly. A big shoutout to Jacob who looked after us. He was elite — great sense of humour, kept the mood light, and paired a beautiful bottle of wine with our steaks that absolutely elevated the whole experience. Service like that really makes the night. The interior has a great vibe — stylish without feeling over the top. We were seated at high tables, which wouldn’t be my first preference as I’d rather sit at a standard table, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. All in all, a quality meal with great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a proper steak night in South Brisbane.
